Isaacs' biography:
 
Born in 1965, Dale Isaacs is a member of the wolf clan of the Mohawk Nation. Dale resides in Ohsweken ON, Six Nations territory. In 1998 he was introduced to a prominent soapstone carver Roy Henri and immediately started sanding sculptures for Roy. A year later Dale started working on his won sculptures and developed his own style and is able to carve "one of a kind" sculptures. Dale has a passion for carving soapstone sculptures and believes stories stay the same but what he sees changes. Dale Isaacs strongly believes in creating his own soapstone sculpture to allow each piece to have integrity. Over the first few years he started to introduce his pieces at local pow wows. 
Most people saw his work and were very impressed. In 2005 Dale entered his first art show and won first prize. He was then encouraged to start creating bigger and much more complex pieces which then led him to successfully have his work represented in art galleries. In 2014 he was back at the pow wows and while talking to people he learned that they were looking for something inside their hearts and minds. Dale believes most people will look for ways to uplift their spirits. He's mastered techniques to develop beautiful soapstone sculptures but most importantly he uses his positive energy to create each piece. Most people are touched by Dale Isaacs work.
