Creation of the Earth for the Haida

​

A long time ago, the Great Raven was living in the Upper World with the other animals because there was nothing on the Earth , except the sea and some arid islands.  But he wanted to discover it anyway and had been banned from the Upper World for some reasons. Thanks to a trick, he stole the sun of the Upper World for his new world on Earth. Then he created the animals and the trees and the flowers but he was feeling lonely. So he created two women. He was feeling better but at some point, the two women told him that they were feeling lonely too, so he turned one of the women into a man. The couple was really happy and they are the ancestors of the Haida.
